Ilana Segal

Ilana Segal has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Ilana began their career as a Research Intern at Prosetta Corporation in 2009, where they worked until 2010. In 2012, they were a Research Intern at the VA Clinic. The following year, they worked as a Research Intern at Portola Pharmaceuticals.

In 2013, Ilana served as a Teacher Assistant at UC Berkeley, and also joined Prosetta Biosciences Inc as a Program Manager/Compound Manager/Research Associate, where they stayed until 2017.

In 2014, they worked as a Pharmacy Administration Intern at the VA Clinic, collaborating with Dr. Joy Meyer and Dr. Robert Malmstrom on drug safety and conversion programs, tracking patients, training new pharmacy residents, and preparing materials for a chronic kidney disease self-management class.

In the following years, Ilana held various roles in different organizations. Ilana worked at NGM Biopharmaceuticals as an Accounts Payable Temp in 2018, and then joined LinkedIn as a Recruiting Coordinator for a few months that same year.

In 2019, they joined Synteract as a Clinical Project Associate I and later moved up to the position of Clinical Project Associate II in 2020. Ilana'sresponsibilities in these roles involved managing clinical projects.

Currently, Ilana is working as a Research Associate at GigaGen Inc, a position they have held since 2021.

Ilana Segal attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology. Additionally, in July 2018, they obtained a certification as a Linkedin Certified Professional - Recruiter from LinkedIn Certification.
