Bob Murphy

Bob Murphy currently serves as the VP of Product and Marketing at GigaIO, a position held since 2023. With extensive experience in product marketing and management, Bob has previously held key roles at companies such as WEKA, where responsibilities included leading the marketing for a high-performance computing data platform, and Panasas, where significant improvements in product awareness and competitive positioning were achieved. Prior to these, Bob managed big data programs at General Atomics, focused on product marketing at IBM and Dell EMC, and led marketing efforts in life sciences at Mercury Computer Systems and Verari Systems. Bob holds a BSE in Biomedical Engineering, specializing in Image Processing and Computer Vision from Purdue University.
