Chickayya Naik

Chickayya Naik is the Vice President of Engineering for Cloud and AI at Gigamon since May 2025, with a robust background in the technology sector. Prior to this role, Chickayya served as Technical Director of Engineering at Arista Networks from August 2022 to January 2025, and held various engineering leadership positions at Pluribus Networks leading up to its acquisition by Arista. Beginning with a co-founder role at a stealth mode startup from March 2015 to April 2016, Chickayya has extensive experience in cloud technologies, Linux containers, and software development in diverse environments including Cisco Systems, where notable contributions included leadership in cloud orchestration and network programmability. Chickayya has also been recognized with Cisco's 1st Pioneer Award in 2000 for significant technical innovations. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of Mumbai and further studies at the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
