Kristi Thiele

Kristi Thiele has a diverse work experience in the field of sales engineering and management. Starting in 1998, they worked as a Senior Systems Engineer at ION Networks. From 2003 to 2006, they served as a Systems Engineer at Permeo Technologies, providing pre-sales engineering support. Kristi then moved to Blue Coat Systems, where they worked as a Systems Engineer, supporting global system integrators and fostering strategic relationships. In 2010, they joined BreakingPoint Systems as a Systems Engineer and later became an SE Manager at Ixia BreakingPoint in 2012. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Sales Engineering Manager at 21CT, focusing on technical qualifications and supporting on-site proof of concepts. Kristi then joined Resolution1 Security as a Senior Sales Engineer in 2014. In 2015, they joined Ixia as a Sales Engineering Manager for the Central Enterprise team, and later transitioned to the role of Sales Engineering Manager at Keysight Ixia Solutions Group. In 2019, they became the Sales Engineering (SE) Director for US Enterprise at Keysight Technologies. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director of WW Service Provider Sales Engineers at Gigamon, and is set to become the Vice President, WW Sales Engineering in 2023.

Kristi Thiele attended Baylor University where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering. In addition to their formal education, they have also earned certifications in various areas. Kristi obtained their AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2022. Kristi also completed the Fostering Inclusion and Diversity Experience program at Yale School of Management in March 2021.
