Magno Bento da Silva

Magno Bento da Silva has extensive work experience in the field of IT and security. Magno began their career at Teleperformance in 1998, where they worked as an Analyst in the field support team before transitioning to the server support team and the information security team. Magno then joined Primesys in 2006 as a Security Analyst, managing security solutions for clients in a Security Operations Center (SOC) and assisting with triaging and investigating alerts. In 2007, they joined Modulo Security Solutions as a Security Consultant, providing consultancy services and performing risk analysis for customers. Magno then moved to TIM Brasil in 2008 as a Senior Security Specialist, where they designed security architectures, evaluated and deployed security products, and developed strong network skills by working on projects related to new technologies. Magno later joined Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd. in 2017 as a Regional Expert Threat Prevention, focusing on developing projects for threat prevention in various environments and providing technical support for the sales cycle. Most recently, Magno has been working at Gigamon since 2019 as a Principal Sales Engineer, responsible for understanding customer pain points and creating innovative solutions to address them. Magno also supports the sales cycle, including presentations, demos, and proof of concepts, emphasizing the importance of network traffic visibility for improved security and user experience.

Magno Bento da Silva completed their Technologist degree in Information Systems at Faculdades Integradas Tibiricá from 2003 to 2005. Later, they pursued a Graduate degree in Project Management at Centro Universitário Senac from 2013 to 2014.
