Regional Sales Director Benelux at Gigamon

Wouter Swarte has extensive work experience in the field of sales and account management. Wouter has held various positions in prominent companies such as Gigamon, Checkmarx, Palo Alto Networks, NetApp, Fujitsu, Intel, Dell, and Riser Business Systems.

Starting in 2023, Wouter Swarte worked as the Regional Sales Director Benelux at Gigamon. In this role, they assisted customers in streamlining and enhancing their log management processes, reducing costs, and improving security.

Before joining Gigamon, Wouter was the Regional Sales Manager Benelux at Checkmarx from 2021 to 2023. Wouter helped customers strengthen the security of their applications and code by integrating Checkmarx solutions into their software development lifecycle. Wouter also facilitated security awareness among developers through Codebashing.

From 2015 to 2021, Wouter served as a Regional Sales Manager at Palo Alto Networks. Wouter was responsible for selling security solutions to various organizations, including governments, universities, utility companies, and regional water authorities. These solutions ranged from on-premise security to virtual, cloud-based, SaaS, SASE, XSOAR, and XDR (EDR) solutions.

Prior to Palo Alto Networks, Wouter worked at NetApp from 2005 to 2015. Wouter held multiple roles, including Account Manager for Healthcare and Education, Account Manager for Shell in the Netherlands, and Account Manager for Government and Utility customers. During their time at NetApp, Wouter focused on selling storage solutions, building channel and ecosystem partnerships, and aligning customers' plans with road map plans.

Before their tenure at NetApp, Wouter was a Sales Consultant Enterprise at Fujitsu from 2001 to 2005, assisting clients in enterprise sales.

At Intel from 1999 to 2002, Wouter served as an Account Manager Benelux, collaborating with system integrators to incorporate Intel products into their offerings, including desktop and server CPUs, network products, and other ASICs.

From 1997 to 1999, Wouter worked as a Sales Consultant at Dell, providing sales support.

Beginning their career at Riser Business Systems in 1990, Wouter worked as a System Engineer until 1994.

Throughout their career, Wouter Swarte has gained extensive experience in sales, account management, and selling security solutions, with a focus on the Benelux region.

Wouter Swarte attended The Hague University of Applied Sciences from 1993 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology. During their time at the university, they also pursued a BA degree in Computer and Telecom Engineering.
