J. Michelle Maraj has a wealth of work experience, beginning with internships and part-time experience in 2009. In 2015, they began working at Crowe as a Financial Crimes Analytics Senior Consultant, focusing on the Financial Services Industry, Risk Technology and Analytics, Data Governance, Data Visualization, Business Intelligence, Compliance Analytics, Model Validation, Regulatory Compliance, Transaction Monitoring Systems, Reporting Requirements, Data Mapping, Data Quality Analysis, and Data & Analytics Community of Growth Leader. J. Michelle was also the Women Leading @ Crowe Local Office Lead and Connect Committee Member. In 2020, Maraj joined Lyft as a Senior Financial Systems Analyst (Tableau) and Financial Systems Analyst. Most recently, in 2022, they started their current role as Senior Business Intelligence Manager at Gigpro.

Michelle then went on to earn a Master's Degree in Business Analytics from The University of Texas at Dallas between 2014 and 2015. Maraj also holds a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist certification from ACAMS, a SAS Institute UT Dallas Graduate Certificate in Business Intelligence and Data Mining from The University of Texas at Dallas and SAS Institute, and a Tableau Desktop Certified Professional certification from Tableau Software.
