Gia Metreveli

Gia Metreveli has a comprehensive work experience in talent acquisition and recruitment. Gia is currently working as the Talent Acquisition Lead at Gigs, where they are involved in building Stripe for phone plans and enabling platforms to sell phone and data subscriptions. Prior to this, they worked as a Talent Advisor at missing-link.io, focusing on deep tech recruitment and strategic talent support for startups, scaleups, VCs, and web3. Gia also held roles at Gorillas, where they served as the Associate Director of Recruitment & Growth and later as the Global Manager of Recruitment & Growth, overseeing the hiring of professionals in the Commercial, Product, and Operations pillars. Gia also had experience as the Interim Talent Lead at TBC Bank, establishing and scaling a remote senior A-technology team for a Digital Transformation project. Additionally, Gia worked as an Executive Search Consultant, Team Lead & Business Development at The Big Search, focusing on tech and leadership hiring across Europe. Gia also served as an Executive Talent Partner & Business Development at ACELR8, where they helped startups scale up their teams through Recruitment-as-a-Service. Gia's experience also includes roles as a Senior Talent Partner at Uberall, a Tech Talent Partner at solarisBank AG, a Tech Talent Partner at Ree Technology, and a Tech Talent Partner at Yilu. These roles involved working closely with senior leadership teams to scale up engineering and business teams and driving talent acquisition efforts in various technology-focused companies.

Gia Metreveli completed a Master of Law and Business (MLB) degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, M&A, Capt. Markets, Corp. Finance, and Entrepreneurship from Bucerius Law School in 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's Degree in Public International Law from Tbilisi State University in 2015. Their undergraduate education also took place at Tbilisi State University, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Public International Law, Civil Law, and Human Rights Law between 2009 and 2013.
