Julien Recan

Julien Recan is currently the COO of Employee Rewards & Incentives at Giift. Prior to this, they were the Head of Digital Delivery at Al Hilal Bank from June 2021 to April 2022. Before that, they were a Partner at Alpha Reply from March 2019 to May 2021, where they were responsible for setting up Alpha Reply's financial services, data-driven and machine learning service offering in the UK. From March 2018 to March 2019, they served as Chief Risk Officer at Revolut.

From July 2010 to February 2018, Julien was the Global Head of Risk Quants and Head of Market Risk Portfolio India at NatWest Markets. Julien also spent two years as a Traded Credit Risk Quant at Natixis from October 2008 to June 2010. Prior to that, Julien worked as a Quantitative Researcher in Fixed Income & Credit at Amundi from July 2006 to September 2008. Julien began their career as a Consultant at Unilog Management from September 2005 to June 2006.

Julien Recan received a Master of Engineering from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Nancy in Engineering, Mathematics, and Information Technology. Julien also studied Mathematics and Physics at Lycée Saint Louis and Lycée Carnot.
