Ian de Klerk

Ian De Klerk is an experienced security operations professional with over two decades in the information technology and cybersecurity fields. Currently serving as Senior Manager: Security Operations at Gijima since September 2007, Ian leads critical security initiatives and operations. Prior to this role, Ian held several positions at T-Systems South Africa, including Team Leader of Advanced Cyber Defense & Network Security, managing a 24/7 operations team. Ian's career began at Telkom SA and the SA Reserve Bank, gaining a solid foundation in information technology and security. Ian's educational background includes multiple technical qualifications and management training from esteemed institutions, including the University of the Witwatersrand and GIBS Business School.
