David K. Samples Chsp

David K. Samples CHSP has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. David K. has held various directorial positions throughout their career. From 1990 to 2006, they worked at Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare as a Facilities Engineer & Construction Manager. In 2006, they joined Iowa Health System as the Director of Facilities, a position they held until 2012. From 2012 to 2014, they worked at Eisenhower Medical Center as the Director-Facilities. David K. then joined Banner Health as the Director of Facilities from 2014 to 2016. Currently, they are working at Gila River Health Care as the Director - Planning Design & Construction. In addition, they gained experience as a Life Safety Code Engineer at The Joint Commission from 2004 to 2013.

David K. Samples CHSP received a BSEET degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from RETS Engineering, which they attended from 1977 to 1980. David K. also completed 50% of a Bachelor of Science degree in Facilities Planning and Management at the College of DuPage. In addition to their degrees, they obtained a Certified Healthcare Safety Professional (CHSP) certification from the International Board for Certification of Safety Managers in 2012, and a FCC Radiotelephone License-General Class from the Federal Communications Commission in 1980.
