Senior Product Design Engineer at Sense Biodetection

Thomas Szymanski has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles.

Starting from 2021, they are currently working as a Senior Product Design Engineer at Sense Biodetection Ltd.

From 2016 to 2021, Thomas worked at Summit Medical Group Ltd, where they held multiple positions. Thomas started as a Design Engineer, supporting the R&D department in developing innovative medical devices. Thomas then became the Product Development Lead, responsible for managing design work packages for new projects and leading key product changes within the Design Change procedure.

Prior to that, Thomas worked at Aircom Automotive sp. z o.o. sp. k. from 2012 to 2014. Here, they served as a Technical Project Manager and later as a Senior Mechanical Engineer. Thomas led projects for German automotive companies, analyzed technical requirements, created schedules and product plans, administered EPDM System, and developed various procedures for design and development. Thomas also achieved cost-saving solutions, implemented 3D modeling methodology, and successfully resolved design failures.

In 2011, Thomas worked at Perfecta Global POSM Inventors as a Mechanical Design Engineer and Prototype Constructor. In 2009, they held the position of Product Designer at ABVCP Polska Sp. z o. o. And in 2008, they worked as a Mechanical Design Drafter at CNS Solutions Sp. z o.o. member of DPS Software GmbH.

Thomas Szymanski's education history begins in 2007 when they enrolled in Warsaw University of Technology. Thomas pursued a degree in Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering and completed their studies in 2012. In 2013, they continued their education at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, where they engaged in postgraduate studies in Project Management and Plastics in Mechanical Engineering, completing them in the same year.

In addition to their academic achievements, Thomas obtained various certifications. In January 2007, they became a Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP) through Dassault Systèmes.
