Karen Arpino-Shaffer

Karen Arpino-Shaffer has extensive experience in the construction and engineering sectors, currently serving as Vice President and Transportation Center of Excellence Director at Gilbane Building Company since September 2010. Previously, Karen held the position of Chief Marketing Director and Board of Directors member at SEA Consultants Inc from September 2001 to September 2010. Karen also served as the Director of Design & Construction at the MBTA from November 1985 to August 2000 and began the career as a Superintendent at Perini Corporation from May 1979 to November 1985. Karen earned a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology.
