Marti Candel

Marti Candel is an accomplished individual with diverse experience in construction management, academic support, marketing, and customer service. Currently serving as a Construction Management Intern at Gilbane Building Company, Marti oversees a multi-phase renovation project, collaborates with subcontractors, and manages document flow. In addition, Marti works as an Instructional Aide and Departmental Ambassador at the University of Michigan, guiding freshmen through their transition to engineering studies and providing mentoring support. As a member of the American Cancer Society's Marketing Senior Leadership Team, Marti contributes to fundraising efforts and brand promotion. Previous roles include a lifeguard and swim instructor at The Sands Atlantic Beach, where safety and teamwork were paramount, along with experience as a sales associate at Red Yoga and Orange Theory Fitness. Marti is pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial and Operations Engineering at the University of Michigan.
