Sam Boyko

Sam Boyko, AIA, is a seasoned professional in the architecture and construction industry, currently serving as the Sr VDC Manager and VDC Department Manager at Gilbane Building since April 2015. In this role, Sam leads the Virtual Design and Construction department for the New York division, focusing on the implementation of technology and BIM within the sector. Prior experience includes positions as VDC Manager and VDC Engineer at HDR, Inc., where work concentrated on Transportation and Infrastructure projects in New York City, notably the Tappan Zee Bridge and MTA projects. Additionally, Sam contributed as a Junior Architect at BRB Architects on educational projects and interned at Sasaki Associates on a master plan. Sam holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Architecture degree from Roger Williams University and has an educational background from Greenfield Community College and Amherst Regional High School.
