William J. Gilbane

William J. Gilbane, Jr. serves as the vice chairman of Gilbane Building Company, where leadership is focused on exceeding client expectations and achieving operational excellence. With a career at Gilbane spanning from May 1970 to the present, William has also held the positions of President and COO, overseeing the profitability of all business units in the U.S., with an emphasis on safety and client satisfaction. Prior experience includes regional management and project executive roles at Gilbane, Inc., which is recognized as one of the largest privately held family-owned construction firms. William holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Brown University and completed secondary education at Choate Rosemary Hall and Canterbury School.
