Jerome J. Petroski

Jerome J. Petroski is an experienced Fire Protection Designer and Project Manager with a robust background in designing and managing fire protection systems across various sectors, including commercial and industrial buildings. Since April 2021, Jerome has been employed at Gilbert Mechanical Contractors, LLC, where responsibilities include performing hydraulic calculations, producing detailed layouts, and ensuring compliance with fire protection specifications using AutoSPRINK software. Previous positions have included roles at LVC Companies, Johnson Controls, Ahern Fire Protection, and others, where expertise with design software such as AutoCAD, HydraCAD, and Navisworks has been demonstrated. Jerome holds a NICET Level II certification in Water-Based Fire Protection System Layout and earned educational credentials in Construction Technology from St. Paul Technical Vocational Institute.
