Leah is a leadership educator, scholar, coach & consultant. Leah has worked in student affairs and higher education for over 15 years, focusing on areas such as residence life, student activities, greek life, leadership education, and college access programs. Leah loves everything about leadership, but more than anything she enjoys watching students and young professionals come into their own as leaders and ultimately, as people.
Leah has a bachelor’s degree in Middle Childhood Education from Bowling Green State University and a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration and Student Personnel from Kent State University. Leah earned an Ed.D. in Leadership Studies with a focus on Human Resource Management from Ashland University. Leah is also a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach.
Leah is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® and has served in a variety of roles locally and regionally over the last 18 years. Leah currently works at Kent State University as Director of Residence Life for University Housing.
