M.D. Abdus Salam

MD Abdus Salam LSSGB has extensive experience in the textile manufacturing industry, currently serving as Assistant GM of Process Engineering at Gildan since June 2015, where leadership of a high-performing team enhances production efficiency and drives cost-saving projects. Previous roles at Gildan include Manager, Process Improvement & Engineering, Superintendent, Process Improvement & Engineering, and Process Improvement Coordinator, focusing on process improvement, project management, and implementation of Lean tools. Prior to Gildan, MD Abdus Salam worked as a Planning Engineer at Wisteria Textiles Limited, creating time and action plans for various manufacturing sections. MD Abdus Salam holds a B.Sc. in Industrial and Production Engineering from Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology and has completed HSC and SSC with a focus on science.
