Maria Frohmader

Maria Frohmader is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the textile and manufacturing sectors, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Manufacturing Operations for Central America and the Caribbean at Gildan since July 2002. With a progressive career, Maria has held various leadership roles, including Vice President of Textile and Garment Dyeing and IT Business Solutions Director for Manufacturing. Notably, Maria directed the Technical, Quality, and Engineering departments across all textile plants and led initiatives to optimize processes and achieve industry-leading key performance indicators. Previous positions at ELCATEX and Heberlein Textile AG further developed expertise in textile finishing and dyeing processes. Maria holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biochemistry from Western University, completed an Executive Development Course (Mini-MBA) at McGill University, and earned a Textile Finishing Engineering degree from the Swiss Textile Institute.
