Rene Zamora

Rene Zamora is a seasoned professional in the field of auditing and internal controls, currently serving as a Senior Internal Auditor at Gildan since April 2023. Prior to this role, Rene held the position of Corporate Internal Auditor focusing on Offshore Operations at Delta Apparel, Inc. from August 2018 to April 2023, and served as Chief of Continuous Improvement/Internal Audit at LEYDE from August 2017 to July 2018. Rene started in the auditing sector with EY as a Tax Auditor and later as an External Auditor. Earlier experience also includes a role as Internal Auditor at DIUNSA and teaching mathematics at Palmeras Bilingual School. Rene holds a degree in Public Accounting and Finance from Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana and a high school diploma from Palmeras Bilingual School.
