Dr. Stephanie Mooij

Dr. Stephanie Mooij has extensive work experience in the field of responsible investment and ESG management. Dr. Stephanie currently holds the position of Head of Responsible Investment at Gilde Healthcare, where they oversee responsible investment activities. Prior to this, Dr. Mooij worked as an ESG & Impact Manager at Gilde Healthcare and as a Responsible Investment Manager at Aegon Asset Management, where they focused on impact investing and engagement activities in fixed income. Dr. Stephanie also conducted doctoral research on responsible investment at the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment - University of Oxford. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Equity Portfolio Analyst at Ownership Capital, where they conducted ESG and financial analysis, prepared investment overviews, and engaged in reporting and monitoring activities. Dr. Mooij has also gained experience as an intern at Gimv and a valuation intern at Duff & Phelps. Additionally, they served as a Teaching Assistant in Corporate Finance at Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Dr. Stephanie Mooij holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Responsible Investment from the University of Oxford, which they obtained from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed a Cum Laude Msc in Finance & Investments from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University from 2011 to 2012. In 2010 to 2011, they also pursued studies in International Business Administration at the same institution.
