Anna Berg Asberg

Anna Berg Asberg currently serves as SVP IT and global CIO at Gilead Sciences since April 2025 and is a board member at the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce-Washington D.C. since January 2023. Previously, Anna held multiple senior roles at AstraZeneca from 2016 to 2025, including Global Vice President R&D IT, where responsibilities encompassed driving IT strategy for global research and development, and Global Vice President Operation IT, overseeing the digital transformation strategy for Global Operations. Earlier career experiences include serving as Region Manager at Resco AB, where Anna launched operations in Germany, and as Project Manager at SKF Group, focusing on global process improvement. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and a summer course in International Management from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
