Chaozheng Yang

Chaozheng Yang is an accomplished data science professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Currently serving as Sr. Director of Data Science at Gilead Sciences since January 2023, Chaozheng previously held the position of Director of Data Science at Novartis from December 2019 to January 2023. Before that, Chaozheng worked as Business Analytics Sr. Manager at AstraZeneca from July 2012 to November 2019 and gained early career experience as a Research Programmer/Analyst II at Anthem (WellPoint) between June 2010 and July 2012, as well as a Statistical Analyst at DuPont from June 2009 to May 2010. Chaozheng Yang holds a PhD in Statistics from Temple University, a Master of Science in Statistics from the University of Delaware, and a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from Nankai University.
