Chris Siebel

Chris Siebel is currently the Executive Director of Cancer Cell Biology in Research Oncology at Gilead Sciences. They previously held various positions at Genentech from 2005 to 2023, including Distinguished Scientist and Senior Principal Scientist, where they led significant research efforts in cancer drug development and mentorship of postdoctoral fellows. Prior to that, Chris worked as Director of Molecular Biology at Deltagen, Inc. and Director of New Technologies at Kosan Biosciences, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco. Chris is pursuing a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology while holding a B.A. in Chemistry-Biology from Pomona College.
