Katharine R. Rice

Katharine R. Rice is a highly experienced legal professional currently serving as Senior Associate General Counsel at Gilead Sciences, where responsibilities include managing complex litigations and leading a team of legal and technical specialists. Throughout her tenure at Gilead Sciences since February 2012, Katharine has held several roles, including Head of International IP Litigation and Senior Associate General Counsel for Litigation & Investigations, ultimately advancing through three promotions. Prior to Gilead Sciences, Katharine worked as a patent litigation associate at Latham & Watkins and as a patent prosecution associate at Cooper & Dunham LLP. Katharine holds a Juris Doctor degree from Notre Dame Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Pepperdine University.
