Kerry Jones

Kerry Jones is a Research Scientist at Gilead Sciences since June 2023, with a robust background in organic chemistry and research. Previously, Kerry served as a Graduate Student Researcher in Professor Richmond Sarpong's group at the University of California, Berkeley from July 2018 to May 2023, focusing on total synthesis. Prior experience includes roles as Head Graduate Student Instructor and Graduate Student Instructor at UC Santa Barbara between December 2016 and March 2018, and as an Undergraduate Researcher at both Relypsa and UC Santa Barbara, where work involved polymer gels for drug development and studies on functionalized silica nanoparticles. Kerry holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BS in Chemistry from UC Santa Barbara.
