Luc Hermans

Luc Hermans is an experienced executive in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Vice President of Midsize Markets for ACE (Australia Canada Europe) at Gilead Sciences since July 2012, overseeing 35 countries and approximately 600 colleagues. Previously, Luc held the position of President and Representative Director for Gilead in Japan, where significant portfolio expansions took place, including the launch of Vemlidy and Biktarvy. Luc's extensive career also includes leadership roles at Novartis Consumer Health, where responsibilities encompassed global marketing and sales across emerging markets and therapeutic areas, as well as various positions at Novartis and Sandoz focused on marketing capabilities and clinical operations. Luc holds an MD in medicine and a postgraduate degree in business management from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven.
