Denis Beckford

Denis Beckford has over 17 years of experience in the field of radiochemistry and molecular imaging. Denis is currently serving as the Senior Director of R&D at Actinium Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Research at the same company from October 2020 to June 2023. Denis also worked as a Research Scientist at the University of California, San Francisco from December 2017 to October 2020, where they specialized in designing and evaluating probes for molecular imaging and therapy. Denis has held various postdoctoral positions at institutions such as the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and McMaster University. Additionally, they worked as a Research Associate at both the Nuclear Physics Institute AS CR and the Center of Isotopes (CENTIS), where they gained expertise in radiochemistry.

Denis Beckford completed a Bachelor's degree in Radiochemistry from the Higher Institute of Technologies and Applied Sciences in 1998-2003. Denis then pursued a Master's degree in Radiochemistry from the same institution from 2004-2006. Later, they pursued a PhD in Nuclear Chemistry, specifically Radiopharmaceutical Chemistry, from the Czech Technical University in Prague from 2009-2011.
