Rhiannon Thomas-Tran

Rhiannon Thomas-Tran is a seasoned research scientist with extensive experience in the field of chemistry. Currently serving as a Senior Research Scientist II at Gilead Sciences since January 2019, Rhiannon has progressively advanced through various roles, including Senior Research Scientist I and Research Scientist. Prior experience includes a two-and-a-half-year tenure at Arcus Biosciences as a Scientist, and a five-year research assistantship at Stanford University under the guidance of Prof. Justin Du Bois, encompassing both research and teaching assistant roles. Earlier in the career, Rhiannon held undergraduate research and co-op positions at Northeastern University and Millennium Pharmaceuticals. Rhiannon earned a PhD in Chemistry from Stanford University and holds a combined BS/MS degree in Chemistry from Northeastern University.
