Shuai Hu

Shuai Hu is an accomplished professional in clinical pharmacology and quantitative pharmacology, currently serving as the Associate Director of Clinical Pharmacology at Gilead Sciences since April 2025. Prior to this role, Shuai held the position of Senior Scientist in Quantitative Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics at Merck from May 2021 to April 2025, and completed a fellowship at the FDA from September 2018 to May 2021. Shuai's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Medicinal Chemistry and a Master of Science in Bioinformatics, both earned at the University of Michigan, where involvement in drug discovery projects and teaching in pharmacology were key highlights.
