Yury Platonov

Yury Platonov currently serves as the Director of Enterprise Risk Management and Business Continuity at Gilead Sciences since June 2020, focusing on managing enterprise risks and ensuring business continuity for critical functions. In addition to this role, Yury has been a certified Level 3 Hockey Coach for USA Hockey since January 2018, volunteering for a 12U travel team. Prior experience includes serving as the Director of Financial Due Diligence in Private Equity at KPMG US from August 2015 to May 2020, Vice President of Transaction Advisory Services at Duff & Phelps from March 2014 to July 2015, and a Senior Associate in the Transaction Advisory Group at Alvarez & Marsal from May 2012 to February 2014. Earlier experience includes positions at BP as an FP&A Senior Associate and at PwC as an Audit Consultant. Yury Platonov holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Saint Mary's College of California and is currently pursuing certification with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
