Smritee Darcy

Smritee Darcy is a highly experienced mechanical engineer with a strong focus on vibration assessment and noise monitoring in aerospace applications. Currently serving as Lead System Mechanical Engineer at Gilmour Space Technologies since August 2020, Smritee has previously held various engineering roles, including Mechanical Engineer at magniX, where significant contributions included ensuring safety of flight through vibration analysis and being part of the team that achieved the world’s first commercial electric flight in 2019. With educational credentials including a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering with Automotive Design from Brunel University, Smritee has developed expertise across multiple organizations in areas such as CAD modeling, NVH assessment, and structural integrity consulting.
