Jan G. has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. They began their career at ABB, where they worked as a project engineer, focusing on cruise ship projects and electrical design automation for vessels. They also worked as a trainee in the High Power Drives software R&D department, developing automated tests and supporting firmware development.

In 2019, Jan joined GIM Robotics as a Junior Robotics Engineer, working on their Master's thesis and specializing in perception systems for autonomous vehicles. They then transitioned to the role of Robotics Engineer, where they were involved in developing autonomous systems for environmental maintenance, agriculture, and marine operations. Jan's responsibilities included software integration and deployment architecture. Currently, they serve as a Project Manager, leading a team of engineers and overseeing customer projects in various fields.

In 2022, Jan co-founded Howya and became the CTO. They developed the Howya app, which focuses on enhancing employee well-being and satisfaction through mood tracking and actionable suggestions.

Throughout their work experience, Jan has utilized various technologies and tools such as C++, Python, ROS, Docker, and Gitlab.

Jan G. completed their education in the field of engineering. They obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Aalto University, starting in 2013 and finishing in 2017. Following their Bachelor's degree, Jan pursued a Master's degree in Automation and Electrical Engineering, also at Aalto University. This program lasted from 2017 to 2020. In addition to their academic qualifications, Jan earned a certification as a Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) from Scrum.org in March 2021.
