Hope Macdonald is a skilled designer with extensive experience in the fashion industry. Currently serving as a designer for Gina Group since February 2024, Hope specializes in private label socks and hosiery. As the owner and designer of their own label since March 2017, Hope's work has been featured in Vogue, highlighting the creation of wearable art from digital prints of original paintings. Previous roles include serving as a designer at Xcel Brands, Inc. (April 2014 - March 2015) for knit and sweater designs, and working as an accessories designer for Kate Spade Saturday (November 2012 - February 2014), where designs encompassed jewelry, handbags, and home decor items. Early experience includes internships with Catherine Malandrino and Robert Verdi Inc. Hope holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Apparel Design from the Rhode Island School of Design and has completed a Master Class Program in Fashion/Apparel Design at the Arts of Fashion Foundation in Paris, along with a Mini MBA from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
