Natalia Bencomo (Macauley) is a Principal Scientist at Giner, Inc. since June 2019, specializing in fuel cell technology. Prior to this role, Natalia served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Los Alamos National Laboratory, focusing on novel fuel cell catalyst development from August 2015 to May 2019. During a PhD program at Ballard Power Systems from October 2011 to July 2015, Natalia was involved in research on fuel cell membrane durability for heavy-duty applications. Additionally, Natalia worked as a PDCA expert at Robert Bosch from September 2009 to March 2010, overseeing productivity and financial reporting for the D-NOX product line. Educationally, Natalia holds a PhD in Engineering with a concentration in fuel cells from Simon Fraser University, a Master’s degree in Alternative Fuel Vehicle Technology from Háskóli Íslands, and a degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Slovenská technická univerzita v Bratislave.
