Ipsita Agarwal

Ipsita Agarwal is an accomplished editorial strategist and book author with extensive experience in journalism and content creation. Currently serving as the Editorial Strategist at Ginkgo Bioworks, Inc. since January 2022, Agarwal is instrumental in establishing biology nonfiction publishing at the organization. As a book author with Orion Publishing Group since March 2019, Agarwal has written a narrative nonfiction book about three Indian women who contributed to a successful Mars mission in 2013. Previous roles include Editorial Partner for Pipe and Contributing Editor for Stripe Press and Increment Magazine, where contributions included developing science nonfiction book proposals and guiding editorial strategy.
