Kyle Lambert

Kyle Lambert is a seasoned professional in genomics and bioinformatics, currently serving as a Sr. Genomics Data Science Engineer at Ginkgo Bioworks, Inc. since October 2022, where expertise in genomics has facilitated business development efforts and the acquisition of approximately 100,000 new microbial genomes in 2024. Prior experience includes a tenure at Bayer from June 2014 to October 2022, where leadership in transitioning data assets to AWS and managing microbial genomics initiatives contributed significantly to research and development. Earlier work at Seed Biotechnology Center involved data analysis of RNA-seq for the lettuce genome. Kyle holds a Bachelor of Science in Bioinformatics with a minor in statistics from the University of California, Davis, completed in 2014.
