Demi Thornton

Demi Thornton has over 10 years of experience in budget analysis and management. Demi is currently working as a Senior Budget Analyst at Ginnie Mae since May 2020. Prior to this, they worked at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development where they held various roles including Senior Budget Analyst in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer from January 2020 to May 2020, Budget Analyst from June 2013 to January 2020, and Student Trainee Management Analyst in both the Office of the Chief Financial Officer and the Office of Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes. Demi also worked as a Federal Credit Policy Analyst at the Office of Management and Budget from April 2019 to August 2019.

Demi Thornton attended Howard University from 2009 to 2013. During their time there, they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a focus in Finance.
