Gustavo Torres

Gustavo Torres has a diverse work experience in the field of design and motion graphics. Gustavo started their career at BKRstudio, where they worked as a Director de Arte, Animador, and Ilustrador from April 2005 to December 2012. Gustavo then moved on to work at Legs Media, where they served as a Video Artist and Motion Designer from February 2012 to 2015. In 2012, they also founded their own company, GustavoTorres.tv, where they worked as an Art Director and Designer.

In the following years, Gustavo gained experience in various roles and companies. Gustavo worked as a Freelance Motion Designer for s[edition] from August 2011 to November 2011. In 2013, they joined Giphy as a GIF Artist. Later that year, they became the A-Trak Art Director at Fool's Gold Records.

In 2014, Gustavo joined VICE Media, Inc. as an Illustrator and Motion Designer for Motherboard. Gustavo also freelanced at Dark Igloo as a 3D Artist, Illustration, and Cover Art. Gustavo worked as a Freelance Motion Graphic Designer for Thought Catalog in May 2014.

In 2016, Gustavo joined Instagram as a Motion Designer and worked there until March 2017. Throughout their career, they have showcased their skills and creativity in various design and motion graphics roles.

Gustavo Torres completed their education in a chronological order. From 1991 to 1997, they attended Bachillerato de Bellas Artes, where they obtained a degree in Bachiller Especializado en Artes Plásticas. During this time, they focused on the fields of study in Grabado and Pintura. Following this, from 1997 to 2003, Gustavo enrolled at Universidad Nacional de La Plata. Gustavo pursued a degree in Profesorado en Artes Plásticas, specializing in Pintura/Grabado.
