Scott Libert

Scott Libert is an experienced educational leader with a diverse background in school administration and teaching. As of July 2022, Scott serves as the School Principal at Girard City School District, following a role as Assistant Superintendent at Geneva Area City Schools from June 2021 to July 2022. Prior to that, Scott held positions as Director of School Improvement at Niles City Schools from August 2012 to June 2021 and Principal at Niles McKinley High School from August 2009 to June 2012. Scott began a career in education as a teacher at Girard City Schools from August 2000 to July 2009. Scott's educational credentials include a Superintendent Certification in Educational Leadership and Administration from The Ohio State University, a Superintendent Licensure Program from The University of Texas at Arlington, an MS in Educational Leadership from the University of Cincinnati, an MS in Curriculum, Technology & Instruction from Nova Southeastern University, and a BS in Education with a concentration in English from Youngstown State University.
