Tylea O.

Tylea O. is a dedicated education professional with extensive experience in leadership and instructional roles. Currently serving as the School Principal at Chesterfield County Public Schools since July 2021, Tylea previously held positions as Assistant Principal and Instructional Coach at Fairfax County Public Schools from August 2012 to July 2021. In these roles, Tylea contributed to countywide professional development for fifth grade teachers and collaborated on creating engaging, standards-based learning experiences. Tylea began a career in education as a Special Education Teacher at Fairfax County Public Schools from August 2004 to June 2012, where responsibilities included co-teaching and coordinating intervention programs. Tylea's early professional experience includes serving as an International Account Consultant at AT&T Global Services, managing key accounts and training new hires. Tylea holds an Administration Certification from the University of Virginia, a Master of Education in Special Education from George Mason University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Howard University.
