Angel K.

Angel K. is a seasoned professional in gender advocacy and development, currently serving as Global Gender & SBC Manager at Girl Effect since December 2021. With previous experience as India Program Manager at Girl Rising from July 2018 to December 2021, Angel contributed to shifting gender attitudes through storytelling and media. Involvement with Women Deliver as a Young Leader emphasized youth engagement for gender equality. Prior roles at 3ie, Women Thrive Alliance, Women’s WorldWide Web, UNICEF France, UNESCO, and Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative demonstrate a strong background in research, advocacy, and policy development. Angel holds a Master of Arts in Development Economics and International Development from Sciences Po and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Lady Shri Ram College for Women.
