Lisa Mulenga

Lisa Mulenga is a seasoned healthcare and public health professional currently serving as the Country Director for South Africa at Girl Effect since April 2024. Previously, Lisa held the position of Programme Director at Genesis Analytics from November 2018 to April 2024, and served as Deputy Chief of Party for the VMMC III Programme at University Research Co., LLC (URC) and Center for Human Services from December 2017 to October 2018. Additional experience includes roles as Director of Medical Programs and Clinical Manager at Society for Family Health, along with serving as Chief Innovation Officer at Africa Health Placements and Biomedical HIV Prevention Team Lead at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in South Africa. Lisa began a career in healthcare as an Equity Partner and Director of Clinical Services at Pendleton Family Practice in Lusaka, Zambia. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the Gordon Institute of Business Science, a Master of Public Health from the University of the Witwatersrand, and an MBChB in Medicine from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
