Anne _ founded Girl Gone International (GGI) in 2010, which has become a rapidly growing global volunteer community with over 750k members in local communities across 200 cities. GGI was recognized by Facebook in 2019 as the largest women's online meets offline community in the world.

In addition to their role at GGI, Anne has also worked with various companies and organizations. Anne has been a professional speaker for Sky in 2021 and hosted an International Women's Day event at Facebook in 2021. Anne has also been a community partner and virtual monetization executive at Facebook in 2020.

From 2018 onwards, Anne has had multiple roles at Facebook, including being an external industry expert for Blueprint Certification, a Facebook Community Leadership Fellow, a presenter and content creator for resources for group admins, an external advisor for community management, and a panelist for Facebook Groups Product. Anne has also been a headline speaker at the European Multiple Sclerosis Platform in 2018 and has spoken at the Etsy Summit and Facebook Communities Summit in the same year.

Anne _ has a Bachelor of Arts Honors degree in International Economics from the University of Glasgow Adam Smith Business School. In 2022, they obtained a certification as a Founding Fellow in Practical Utopias: An Exploration of the Possible, led by Margaret Atwood, from DISCO.
