Lizz Mathews

Lizz Mathews has extensive experience in outdoor training and volunteer management within the Girl Scouts organization, currently serving as Outdoor Training and Campsite Support for Girl Scouts - North Carolina Coastal Pines since May 2023. Previously, Lizz held the position of Program Manager with Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida, Inc. from September 2021 to July 2023, where responsibilities included creating and managing experiences for participants and outdoor training for volunteers. Prior roles include Community Manager and Volunteer Support Specialist for Girl Scouts of Colorado, where Lizz managed and trained over 450 volunteers, and Volunteer Development Manager for Girl Scouts of Maine, focusing on training and support for volunteers. Lizz also has experience as a Student Instructor for First Year Seminar and as an Improvisor with Crawlspace Eviction Improv Team. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication from Western Michigan University.
