Edwin Barreto

Edwin Barreto, MBA, currently serves as Chief Financial Officer for the Girl Scouts of Central & Southern New Jersey, a position held since April 2024. Previously, Edwin Barreto held the role of Chief Financial Officer and Interim Chief Executive Officer at the Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey from April 2016 to April 2024. Other notable positions include Controller at YWCA Bergen County from January 2014 to March 2016 and Chief Business Officer at Mercy Home for Children from July 2012 to June 2013. Edwin Barreto began a career in finance as Comptroller at Sinergia, Inc. from March 2009 to July 2012 and served as Assistant Comptroller at the Association for Metroarea Autistic Children, Inc. from July 2006 to December 2009. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the American University of Puerto Rico, along with several professional accreditations in accounting and finance.
