Stephanie Calcasola

Stephanie Calcasola serves as the Vice President of Quality & Safety for Hartford Healthcare. She leads quality and safety for this 7-hospital integrated health system. She is a nationally recognized leader and consultant in healthcare quality and patient safety. Ms. Calcasola speaks nationally on issues of healthcare quality and is published in peer reviewed journals. She has held a variety of positions over the last thirty years including clinical nurse specialist, staff nurse, educator, and program manager. Ms. Calcasola received her BSN in nursing from Southern CT State University, New Haven, CT and her Master of Science in Nursing at Yale University, School of Nursing. She is a trained improvement advisor from the Institute of Healthcare Improvement.
