Laura Chadwell has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Laura began their career as a Development Associate at The Boston Conservatory from September 2007 to August 2009. Laura then worked at Lesley University as a Human Resources Specialist from December 2009 to August 2012, and also served as a Research Fellow from January 2011 to April 2011. From July 2013 to October 2014, Laura was the Director of Community Programs at The Center for Arts in Natick. Laura then joined the Community Art Center as the Community Programs Director, holding various roles from September 2012 to October 2017. Laura owned and operated their own business, Laurel Hill Floral Design, from May 2010 to November 2021. Laura then worked at the YMCA of Metro North, where they served as the Director of Grants & Community Engagement from August 2017 to December 2021. Currently, Laura serves as the Director of Development at Girl Scouts of Eastern MA, starting in September 2022. In addition to their work experience, Laura also operates as a Consultant and Owner at Thorntree Nonprofit Consulting since September 2021.

Laura Chadwell has a strong educational background in the field of Education and Arts. Laura obtained a Masters of Education degree with a focus on Community & Arts from Lesley University, where they studied from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Theatre Arts Management at Ithaca College from 2003 to 2007.
