Jessica Barkley

Camp Co-director at GIRL SCOUTS OF EASTERN MASSACHUSETTS INC

Jessica Barkley has a diverse work experience that includes roles in both education and the Girl Scouts organization. Jessica started their career in 2010 as a Special Education Instructional Assistant at Andover Public Schools. In 2012, they transitioned to the role of Special Educator at the same school. During this time, they also worked as a Special Education Instructional Assistant (Practicum) from 2011 to 2012.

In 2013, Jessica joined the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts as the Trips Director, responsible for organizing and managing trips for the organization. Later in the same year, they were promoted to Assistant Camp Director and eventually became a Camp Co-Director in 2013.

Overall, Jessica has acquired valuable experience in both education and leadership roles through their work at Andover Public Schools and the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts.

Jessica Barkley obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Philosophy & Religion from West Virginia Wesleyan College, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Jessica then went on to pursue a Masters in Education, specializing in Special Education - Severe Disabilities, at Simmons University from 2010 to 2012.
